The Open Beta has been terrific, and we’ve gotten some great feedback from the community. After hearing the responses from our players, we’ve decided to delay the release of Mytheon until early September. We understand that you’ve been excited about the launch of Mytheon, and we are too! We want to take this time to focus on improving the gameplay experience and to ensure that Mytheon meets your expectations for an approachable, social and challenging quality title: a truly great game. The Early Play Access date is expected to remain 4 days out from the launch so that the benefits of your Champions Package is preserved. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this delay or any other issue, please feel free to contact us at help@mytheongame.com.

So it looks like the game won't be released until at least early Septemeber providing all goes well with the development.

Hi guys. To answer your questions, yes the game is being delayed.Also, the recent e-mail that went out to Champions should have read that we are targeting “Q3/Q4 2010” for a launch date instead of September. We have received tremendous feedback from our beta community, and are delaying the release in order to incorporate all of this feedback into making Mytheon the best for our players.

Any new information regarding the launch date will be posted here on the forum and a clarification email will be going out to purchasers of the Champions of Mytheon package shortly. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

You should make a thread so that players can brainstorm ideas for events/promotions/contests

So there you go not necessarily early September after all . Although, for playing devils advocate it does say 'a new release date' so its either refering to the previous one or they were thinking of releasing it then, providing all goes well with tweaking the game for us all, but possibly not now they have said that time period or maybe they still are who knows. Well ...only the people at UTV True Games (aka The Mytheon Team) do of course .

What I really want to know is what extras the people of the 'Champions of Mytheon' club will get , do you know Solacer-TGI or has it not been confirmed yet?

So, what's the hold up? "Making the game better" is the standard line, but what's really going on? It's been delayed a lot.

For me, at least, getting connection issues / loading times better / faster is fine with me for release. Lately, I've been connecting to the server with no problems. So, I'll be on my "Everything is fine with me" boat if anyone wants to join.

I also haven't got any problems with connecting. No server errors, no disconnects.
